So here I am, two years later, and the founder/CEO of Mom Talk with Denise LaRosa, LLC. The last thing a mother wants to face is a medical emergency with her child. There are no words in the dictionary that can adequately describe the sheer terror I experienced in those two long minutes. I called my pediatrician's emergency line, and after responding to a series of questions, he informed me that my child may have had a seizure and I was to take her to the emergency room. I called my husband, who was at work, and we rushed to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. The staff at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh provided our daughter with the best of medical care, while also providing us all comfort and reassurance every step of the way.
