EQT Children's Theater Festival: Entertaining and enlightening families for the 29th year!

I absolutely LOVE the EQT Children's Theater Festival! As an elementary school teacher, taking my students to the Children's Theater Festival was one of the high-lights of the school year. Now, I get to enjoy the delightful experience of the festival's many attractions with my own children!

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust's EQT Children'sTheater Festival celebrates its 29th year of entertaining and enlightening families with a wide array of exciting and educational theater performances, visual arts programming and so much more! The festival will be held May 14-17, 2015 , in the Cultural District, downtown Pittsburgh.

This year'sEQT Children's Theater Festival features performances by artistic companies from Australia, Denmark, Scotland, the Netherlands and Mexico. One of the many reasons why I truly enjoy and value the Children's Theater Festival is because it opens the door for children to experience performing arts in a way that inspires, challenges, educates and stimulates respect for and an understanding of so many different cultures. In addition, the Children's festival has a powerful and fun way of sparking a child's imagination with hands-on experiences, making memories that will last a lifetime! Muhammad Ali once said,
“The man who has no imagination has no wings.”The Children's Theater Festival is just what our children need to help their imaginations soar to greater heights, while having a blast with their family. Even as an adult, I walk away from the festival feeling entertained and enlightened from the joyful experience.

I am so excited about this year'sEQT Children's Theater Festival, that I want you to come join me and my family! I am giving away a family 4-pack of tickets for you to attend a theater performance of your choice! The theater festival itself is free, but attendance to all performances require a ticket. So, treat yourself and your family by entering my contest! The winner will announced on Wednesday, May 13th! Good luck!
